Types of Care
Short-term Rehabilitation

Recovery from an acute illness, surgery, or injury after a hospital stay often requires rehabilitation therapy. The short-term rehabilitation program, led by physical, occupational and speech therapists, helps individuals restore independence so they can return home to their normal activities as quickly as possible.
Long-term Care

We offer a long-term placement option due to chronic illness, physical limitations, or memory impairment. A dietitian-approved dining program, spaces designed for safety and comfort, and a full calendar of activities cultivate a supportive, caring environment that empowers each individual.
Hospice

When residents reach the final phase of their life with an emphasis on comfort rather than cure, there is no better place to receive end-of-life care than Martin County Health Care Facility. In conjunction with local Hospice service providers, the facility is responsive to resident and family needs, providing symptom management and emotional support.
Skilled Nursing Care

Skilled nursing care is provided 24 hours per day by a trained staff of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Medication Aides, and State Registered Nurse Aides under the direction of a physician.
Post-hospital Care

These services focus on medical treatment to individuals transitioning from hospital to home. A broad spectrum of medical and post-surgical care such as pneumonia, wound care management, and intravenous and respiratory therapies are offered.
Respite

Respite or short-term stays provide temporary relief to caregivers. Respite stays are beneficial during instances when a caregiver travels, is recovering from an illness or injury of their own, or simply need a break. Respite stay residents will receive the medical attention they require and will have access to experience all of the special amenities we offer.
